What is MemoryBank?

MemoryBank is a family-friendly dashboard that shows kids their real investment accounts in a way they can actually understand — without giving them the ability to make trades.

The product in one paragraph

A parent connects a kid's brokerage account (Schwab, Fidelity, Vanguard, etc.) one time. From then on, the kid has a colorful dashboard on their phone, tablet, or family TV browser that shows their account value, daily change, holdings, and progress toward savings goals — refreshed automatically.

Who it's for

• Parents who want their kid to see what their UTMA or Roth IRA actually does day-to-day, instead of just hearing "you have an account."
• Kids who are curious about money and would happily learn more if it didn't feel like homework.
• Families who want a shared kid-friendly display — a wall-mounted tablet or a TV browser running the dashboard.

What's read-only by design

MemoryBank cannot move money, place trades, or change account settings — for any account, ever. We're a viewer, not a broker. The actual buying and selling happens at your brokerage; we just show what's already there.

Surfaces

• mymemorybank.app — the marketing site, parent admin dashboard, and the kids portfolio dashboard on phones / tablets / desktops.
• api.mymemorybank.app — the same kids dashboard in a TV- optimized layout, intended for always-on wall displays.

A kid's device (an iPad, a tablet, a TV's built-in browser) gets paired to a parent account through a 6-digit code or QR scan — no kid login needed.

How families typically use it

• A weekend "money chat" — kid sees what their account did this week, parent answers questions.
• A digital picture frame mode — a tablet on the kitchen wall showing the dashboard during the day, family photos during quiet hours.
• A talking-with-grandparents moment — relatives can see what their gifts are turning into without needing logins.

Pricing

MemoryBank has three plans: Free, Starter, and Family. Free covers up to 3 kids with accounts added by hand; Starter and Family add automatically synced brokerage accounts, AI stock stories, and the photo screensaver, and Family raises the limits to 10 kids.
