How to cancel your subscription

You can cancel anytime — no calls, no email-back-to-confirm.

How to cancel

1. Open /dashboard/billing.
2. Click Manage subscription.
3. In the secure payment portal that opens, click Cancel plan.
4. Confirm.

Subscribed in the iPhone app? That subscription is billed by Apple, so cancel it in your iPhone's Settings → your name (Apple ID) → Subscriptions.

What happens at cancellation

• You keep paid features until your current billing period ends. If you paid for the month and cancel on day 5, you have the rest of the month with full access.
• You drop to the Free tier after that. Free keeps up to 3 kid profiles, manual accounts, stock deep-dives, and portfolio history charts. Linked brokerage connections are disconnected, and the AI features and photo screensaver turn off.
• Your data is preserved. Kid profiles, manual accounts, pairings, and portfolio history all stay in place. If you reactivate later, it picks up where you left off.
• Brokerage connections are removed when Free starts. Automatic syncing is a paid feature, so linked connections are disconnected at the end of your paid period. If you subscribe again, just reconnect your brokerage from /dashboard/connections.

Reactivating later

From /dashboard/billing, just pick a paid plan again. You're not charged retroactively for the gap — billing starts fresh from the day you re-subscribe.

Deleting your account entirely

Cancellation is different from account deletion. If you want every trace of your data removed:

1. Cancel your subscription first (see above).
2. Then contact support and request account deletion.

Account deletion is permanent. We remove every profile, connection, device token, and historical record. We can't recover an account once it's deleted.

Refund on cancel?

Cancellation by itself doesn't refund the current period — you keep the access you paid for. If you'd like a refund alongside the cancellation, see the Refunds article and contact support with your reason.
