Money word

Company

An organization that makes products or provides services to earn money.

A company is a business that sells goods or services. When a company is publicly traded, people can buy small pieces of it (shares) on the stock market, which is how a child can end up owning a slice of a business whose products they already use every day.

Explain it to your kid

"A group of people who make or sell things."
