What is a watchlist (the "Watching" tab)?
A watchlist is a list of stocks a kid wants to follow without owning them. They show up under the "Watching" tab inside My Stocks.
How to add a stock to watch
Open My Stocks, switch to the "Watching" tab, and use the add button to search for a company and add it. You can also manage the list from Settings under Watchlist. Tap any watched stock to read its story and see how it's moving, and remove one whenever you like.
Why a watchlist is worth using
- Follow companies you're curious about — the ones you already know from games, shows, phones, or snacks — and watch how their prices move over time.
- Get familiar with a stock before owning any of it. Watching costs nothing and spends no money, so it's a safe, pressure-free way to learn how a company behaves.
- Build the habit of paying attention. Noticing why a company you like goes up or down is how investing starts to make real sense.
- It gives you and a grown-up a great starting point for "what is this one?" conversations about the account.
Watching a stock does not buy it and costs nothing — it's purely for learning and curiosity.
