Which brokerages are supported?

MemoryBank supports the major US brokerages plus thousands of smaller institutions. You can search the full list without an account on the supported accounts page: type your institution's name and it shows whether investment accounts there can be linked. The same list appears when you click Add Account in /dashboard/connections.

The big ones

The most commonly connected brokerages for kid accounts:

  • Charles Schwab (including Schwab Custodial / UTMA, Schwab Roth IRA for Kids)
  • Fidelity (Fidelity UTMA, Fidelity Roth IRA for Kids, Fidelity Youth Account)
  • Vanguard (Vanguard UTMA)
  • **E*TRADE / Morgan Stanley** (UTMA, Roth IRA for Minors)
  • Robinhood (taxable accounts)
  • Webull
  • TD Ameritrade (now Schwab) — existing accounts continue to work through the Schwab integration.

Bank savings accounts

Most major US banks (Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Capital One, Ally, etc.) can also be connected if you want a kid's savings account to show up alongside their brokerage. The dashboard treats savings balances differently from market holdings.

What if my brokerage isn't on the list?

Two options:

  1. Wait for support. The supported list grows regularly. Let us know via the Contact page which institution you'd like added and we'll prioritize it.
  2. Use a manual account. From /dashboard/accounts, click Add manual account to enter the account name and current value. You can update it whenever you want. Useful for small custodial accounts at credit unions or for paper accounts (like savings bonds).

International brokerages

US-only at the moment. International brokerage support is planned but not on the near-term roadmap.

Will my specific kid-account type work?

For most major brokerages, yes — UTMA, custodial brokerage, Roth IRA for Kids, 529, and standard taxable accounts all show up the same way once connected. If you have an unusual account type and aren't sure, the easiest check is to attempt the connection — the picker will only show accounts that can be read.
